I am a big fan of Spain, the architecture is very similar to the one of my hometown (Toulouse) in France and their food is pure heaven. We went with my friends on a girl weekend to San Sebastian (also called Donostia) a couple of weeks ago. I loved the atmosphere in this city! Every single step you take brings you to an even more prettiest street!
Did you know?
You speak Spanish? Great! However, don’t be surprised if you can’t understand the majority of what you hear. Most locals in San Sebastian speak Basque rather than Spanish 🙂
San Sebastian has its own Airport located 20km from the city. There is also 2 International Airport located less than 100km (Biarritz in France & Bilbao in Spain)
There is also a Shuttle bus service from Madrid Airport ( Barajas, Terminal T4 ) to San Sebastián in 5h30 with the company Alsa.
